when i created my photos, i had to direct and inform my models towards certain positions and have a desired body language, to create the atmosphere/mood for the magazine. when taking the pictures i had to pick out specific types of tone between the foreground and background, to get a strong look, such as an upwards tilt combined with a contrasting background creates a serious, highly visible image where the model becomes direct focus, away from the background, which makes the image naturally layered.
when taking the images i made a slight mistake, of taking all images landscape and none portrait, which means i had to take extra images for the DPS and Front Cover, which hindered my progression towards my magazine, in certain areas.
on my contents page i had used a line drawing of a city building, which created a 'Line' leading towards the images on the page, making the images show predominance and importance. in my images i had incorporated clothing which shows soft to smooth textures that give shine in highlighted areas, which helps to add a strong effect, along with an added background texture on the pages which adds a subtle texture to the entire page, which makes the piece seem highly detailed.
